in gratitude, my heart wants my day
to start in a holy and godly way
i bow before sovereign Majesty
and entreat the Lord of my soul to stay.
a holy temple is what the body of Christ is to be
that in ages to come, angels and men may look and see
that wisdom of God that lovingly speaks
"I will draw all men unto ME."
satan, world, and flesh wanting me to sway
with a word, the Lord draws away
keep my heart in this way
oh, Spirit of Christ, i humbly pray.
