AndersonBibleStudy - Verse

2013 is upon us another year that God Almighty has blessed each of us with. For truly we live, breathe, and have our being because of His Divine decree.

I am changing AndersonBibleStudy focus verse from Hebrews 13:21 to Lamentations 3:22-23.

These verses are ones that I have found to be a blessing to me and I pray that they will be a blessing to each of you as you incorporate it into memory.

Hebrew's 13:21 equip you with everything good that you may do His will, working in us that which is pleasing in His sight, through Jesus Christ, to whom be glory forever and ever. Amen.

This verse tells us that God will work in us that which we need to do His will, in the context here it is primarily talking about verses 15 and 16 of Hebrew's 13.  15. Through Him then let us continually offer up a sacrifice of praise to God, that is, the fruit of lips that acknowledge His name. 16. Do not neglect to do good and to share what you have, for such sacrifices are pleasing to God. God's focus for us to number toward Him and number two toward our neighbors, this is what pleases God.

My main purpose for using this verse all throughout 2012 was to focus on the part that God equips us with everything we need to do His will. Everything. Ultimately that is in Jesus Christ, our union with Him. Just as we are finding out in our study of the book of Genesis in the lives of the people that uses God has provided, we read of the trials and troubles of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob, Joseph we see shortcomings in all their lives, yet they point to the faithfulness of God. That is what we are to see throughout the thousands of years of Christian history the main stream the runs through it, indeed, what keep it running is the faithfulness of God. God has made promises and God is intervening in human history to ensure that those promises come to pass. His faithfulness is everlasting, we can count on it, we can place the well being of our souls on His faithfulness and that bring me the focus verses for 2013.

Lamentations 3:22-23 - The steadfast love of the LORD never ceases; His mercies never come to an end; they are new every morning; great is your faithfulness.

AndersonBibleStudy's main Bible version is the ESV (English Standard Version) unless otherwise noted. Capitalization of pronouns referring to God are made by me.

These are great verses to wake up too each morning. His mercies are new each morning. His love for you will never cease. And just as we see in the lives of the people used by God throughout the Bible, God's faithfulness shines forth into the darkness that is this fallen world, it is a light that cannot be extinguished, it is a light that each one of us are called upon to display to those around us that they might, by God's grace, turn from evil to righteousness, from Satan to Christ, and from eternal damnation to eternal, everlasting life.

Just as Hebrews 13:21 fills its ultimate fulfillment for each one of us in and through Jesus Christ so does Lamentations 3:22-23 and the whole of Scripture.

Please continue praying for each other, that we might be blessed of God to continue seeking Him and with our whole heart, mind, body and strength depending and anchored in His faithfulness.

Blessings!
